Over a hundred clients, friends and family gathered at New Hall Vineyard on a balmy July evening to enjoy each other’s company along with some fine wine, delicate cheeses and an authentic Aussie BBQ, all topped off with live music from local band Highway 21.
This was a great chance for valued clients and their families to gather in a really relaxed atmosphere and socialise with the Liberty team and their families.
Lee Devonald would like this to become a regular event saying;
‘we are not here to talk shop, I just want to say a big thank you to all our clients and have a chance to meet the rest of their families in a really fun and relaxed environment, all too often we meet immediate family members for the first time in completely opposite circumstances’
At 4 o’clock the early birds gathered for a tour of the winery by Lucy the Vineyard Manager who took us through the wine making process. Once we knew how this award winning wine was made, we were then seated ready for the tasting. Red, white and sparkling wines were well complemented by some fine cheeses.
Suffice to say there were a lot of smiling faces at the end of the tasting and a few more glasses were quaffed before we gathered for the BBQ.
What a veritable feast, steak, chicken, snaggers and burgers all washed down with some more wine or a drink of your choice from the bar- it was great to eat outside in the sunshine, the party was now in full flow.
After the BBQ it was time to let our hair down and have a bop to our live band Highway 21 who were able to play songs from all genres and eras- there was a classic for everyone to dance along to.
The band finally packed up their instruments at around 11.30 and guests made their way home – mostly by taxi!
It just leaves us to say a big thank you to Lucy, all the staff at New Hall, The Aussie BBQ Company and of course the fantastic Highway 21 for making the event such a success - roll on next year!
